BRA CUP

The difference between your bust and underband measurements determines your cup size. For example, a 34-inch bust and 32-inch underband results in a 2-inch difference.

HOW TO MEASURE

MEASURE THE UNDERBUST

Wear a wired, non-padded bra for accurate measurement. Place the tape snugly under your bust, parallel to the floor. If measured by someone else, keep your arms at your side. Exhale, tighten the tape and note the measurement.

MEASURE THE OVERBUST

With elbows down, wrap the tape across your back at band level and around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it parallel to the floor. If someone else measures you, hold your arms at your side. Lightly tighten the tape, breathe out, and note the measurement.

MEASURE THE WAIST

Wrap the tape with medium tension around your waist's natural indent. If unsure, lean to one side and use the skin crease as a guide.

MEASURE THE HIP

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips, not necessarily at the hip bone. Have a look in a mirror to ensure the tape is straight and snug.

MEASURE THE INSEAM

Measure the inside of your leg from where it meets the brief line to your ankle.

PERFECT FIT TIPS

Perfect Fit Tips

1. The underband provides most of the bra’s support and it should fit firmly and lie parallel to the cups. When new, fasten on the outermost hooks to adjust as it loosens over time. If it rides up, try a smaller underband and a larger cup size.

2. The straps should be parallel or slightly V-shaped on the back. Digging straps suggest a large underband, so try a smaller one with a bigger cup instead. If straps slip, consider a larger underband and potentially a smaller cup.

3. The cups should contour the breast and sit flat without squeezing or causing spillage. Ensure breasts are properly positioned within the cups. Underwire discomfort or band curling suggests a small cup while puckering and bagginess indicate a large cup.

4. The centre front of the bra or bra bridge should lie flat. A gap suggests the cup is small.

5. For our provocative, open styles the fit may vary slightly based on breast shape and nipple position.

6. Bluebella cups are true to size.

7. For a smaller bust, we recommend padded and bralette-style bras. Full-cup and underwired options will offer plenty of support for bigger busts.
